Starting January 7, 2025, Autodesk will change renewal discounts and will also implement suggested retail price (SRP) increases for all products globally, impacting both new and renewing subscriptions. Here’s an official of the upcoming changes:
Renewal discount adjustments:
- Multi-year subscriptions: customers opting for multi-year subscriptions globally will continue to benefit from a 5% renewal discount.
- Annual subscriptions: annual subscriptions will no longer qualify for the previous 5% renewal discount. If you’re currently on an annual plan, it might be worth considering a switch to a multi-year plan to lock in savings.
Note: This change does not apply to subscription renewals discounted through trade-in offers like move to subscription (M2S) and transition to named user.
General price increases
- 10% increase: most new annual and 3-year subscriptions will be cost 10% more
- 15%-21% increase: renewals for existing subscriptions will be significantly higher, depending on whether you renew as an annual or multi-year subscription
Note: This price increase will align Autodesk’s Suggested Retail Price (SRP) closer to different countries across all regions.
