I. Bitdefender GravityZone Overview

II. Model deployment

Bitdefender GravityZone supports two deployment models: Cloud and On-premise. As follows:

2.1 Cloud Direct

Note: Direct is a direct internet connection between Endpoint and the Bitdefender GravityZone Cloud management system through the default web connection ports 80, 443.

2.2 Relay

Lưu ý: Relay is a model for end users who do not have an internet connection or the internet connection is not high and unstable. This model is suitable for remote offices, instead of simultaneously many computers working with the administration system on Bitdefender Cloud, only Endpoint Relay machines are allowed to connect to the Internet and interact with Bitdefender Cloud to help reduce transmission line maximum.
Endpoint Relay is an Endpoint but adds a relay operation mechanism including:
a. Update Server: The Relay machine creates an Update Server folder. All endpoints in the intranet will update from Relay instead of from the Internet.
b. Proxy: All endpoints that want to connect to the Bitdefender GravityZone Cloud must go through a relay.
To make sure, we can create multiple Relays for HA and choose the priority order for the system to access through which Endpoint Relay first.

2.3 On-Premise

On-Premise is a model that helps businesses not use Cloud GravityZone directly. At that time, the endpoints in the system will connect to the Security server and the system is managed via Control Center with Web-based. In addition, On-premise also supports Active Directory and Mobile.
